I am directed by Mr. Secretary Clynes to

enclose, for the information of Lord Passfield, a

copy of League of Nations Document 0.0.1117, being

a report of seizures of opium at Vancouver and St.

John, Canada. The Secretary of State suggests that

this document may be forwarded to the Government of

Hongkong with a request for any information that can

be furnished in regard to the case reported on the

last page.
